Individual coaching
Individual coaching for autistic and ADHD women, online and at your own pace
One-to-one support with a PCC-certified coach (ICF) who is autistic and ADHD herself. In English or French, online, wherever you are.

Why choose individual neurodivergence coaching?
You walk out of an appointment where you nodded the whole time. In the car, you realize you didn’t say half of what is really going on.
It’s not that you had nothing to say. It’s that you have spent years explaining how you function before you could be helped, and at some point, you stop explaining.
Individual coaching is a space where you don’t have to translate yourself. We start from where you are that day, even if it’s fog. We move at your pace, with your mind and with your body. And we hold the course during the weeks when your energy drops.
This coaching is for autistic, ADHD or AuDHD people (autistic and ADHD), diagnosed or questioning, who want to better understand how they function and build a life that respects it.
60- to 75-minute sessions, by video, by phone or asynchronously.
Do you recognize yourself here?
- You recently received a diagnosis, or you are wondering about it, and you don’t quite know what to do with it.
- You have seen professionals before and came out feeling analyzed rather than heard.
- You look like you’re keeping up. You nod. Inside, you no longer know what you want.
- You hold on to a role, a pace or a standard that wears you down, because letting go scares you more.
- Organization tricks work for three weeks, then you conclude that you are the problem.
- At work, you would need accommodations, but you don’t know how to name them or ask for them.
What is my individual coaching based on?
Meet before interpreting. That is the thread running through all my work.
I don’t start from a method to apply. I start from you. My support brings together professional coaching within the ICF ethical framework, more than twenty years in helping relationships (as a social worker, then a mental health practitioner), work with the body and the nervous system (BodyMind Method, interoception), current research on autism and ADHD, and my own lived experience as an AuDHD person.
Human Design is one of my tools, only if it interests you. Many people go through their whole coaching without ever hearing about it.

How does individual coaching work?
1. The connection call (30 minutes, free)
We meet, with no commitment. You have nothing to prepare and nothing to decide that day. It’s the moment to feel whether we are a good fit.
2. The first sessions: setting things down and understanding
We put words on what you are living, without asking you to justify it. Most of the people I support arrive already overloaded. So we start by making room, not by adding more.
3. The click, often around the 3rd or 4th session
We turn understanding into strategies you can apply: safety-led motivation, what to do when RSD comes back, boundaries, relationships and work, energy accounting, Plan A / Plan B to get out of the “I give everything, then I crash” cycle.
4. Integration, often around the 6th or 7th session
What you have understood becomes concrete in your daily life: your boundaries, your energy, your decisions. There will be weeks when things slip back. That is part of the path, not proof that it isn’t working.
Between sessions
Voice message support is available, so you are not left alone with what happens from one session to the next.
What we can work on together
In your personal life
At work and in your business
As a couple
Understanding how you function as an autistic, ADHD or AuDHD person. Getting through a difficult period. Better regulating your emotions and your nervous system. Learning to listen to yourself instead of correcting yourself. Exploring your identity after a diagnosis or while questioning. Taking your place in your relationships without dimming yourself.
Getting reasonable accommodations. Managing your attention, your energy and your space. Working with integrity without burning out.
If you are self-employed: building a business at your own pace, based on your real capacity.
Communicating better when one partner is ADHD and the other is autistic or of another neurotype.
Living a healthy, fulfilling relationship that respects each partner’s needs.

This coaching is for neurodivergent people, mostly between 35 and 65, often at the point where masking no longer holds. Trans and non-binary people are also welcome. No diagnosis is needed: diagnosed, going through an assessment or questioning, you are welcome.

What you can get out of it
- understand how you function and stop treating yourself as a problem to fix;
- recognize the energy you really have available and make decisions based on it;
- notice the signs of overload in your body earlier;
- say no without three paragraphs of explanation;
- ask for accommodations at work in clear words;
- build a way of working that supports you instead of draining you.
Individual or group?
Individual coaching is for you if you need a space that is entirely yours, at your own pace, focused on what is alive for you right now.
Les AuDAHcieuses is a 12-week program for autistic and ADHD women. The same in-depth work, with something private coaching can’t offer: other women who function like you. The private track combines the group with individual sessions with me.
Frequently asked questions about individual neurodivergence coaching
Before you start
Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?
No. Whether you are diagnosed, being assessed or questioning, you are welcome. Here, you don’t have to prove that you have the right to be here.
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Therapy often works from what has happened, in order to heal. Coaching starts from where you are now and looks toward what you want to build. I do not diagnose and I do not provide treatment. The two can coexist.
What is neuro-affirming coaching?
It is coaching based on the principle that the way you function is not a flaw to correct. We are not trying to make you more “normal”. We seek to understand how you really function and build from there, without standard advice or performance pressure.
What will be different?
You won’t have to explain your neurodivergence to me before we can work together. I am autistic and ADHD myself, with more than twenty years of practice in helping relationships. The silences, the overflows, the days when nothing comes out: I know them from the inside. I have sought help myself and felt misunderstood.
What if I arrive in a complete fog, without knowing what I want?
That is a legitimate starting point. You don’t need to arrive with a clear goal.
About my approach
What are your qualifications?
I am a PCC-certified professional coach with the ICF, I hold a bachelor’s degree in social work and specialized in mental health through my practice and continuing education, I am a practitioner listed in the ADHD Girls AuDHD network, trained in the BodyMind Method and certified by the International Human Design School.
Why don’t the usual organization tricks work for me?
Because they are designed for a brain that produces energy at a steady rate. As long as the system ignores your real rhythm, you will keep it up for a few weeks and conclude that you are the problem. We start from the way you function, not someone else’s.
Do you use Human Design?
Only if it interests you. It is one tool among others, not the foundation of my work.
Is it also for entrepreneurs?
Yes. Positioning, work energy, creative cycles, a business structure that supports you. Always based on your real capacity.
How it unfolds
How many sessions does it take?
It depends on what you are looking for. The click often comes around the 3rd or 4th session, and integration around the 6th or 7th. Some people continue for several months. We adjust together.
How much does it cost?
The rate varies depending on the package and payment terms you choose. We talk about it together during the connection call, to find what suits you.
Is it only offered in Quebec?
No. Coaching takes place online, in English or French, wherever you are. In-person sessions are possible in the Outaouais region, on request.
Can I get a receipt for my insurance?
Yes, on request. Coverage varies from one insurer to another, so check with yours.
Are our conversations confidential?
Yes. Everything you share remains confidential, in accordance with the ICF Code of Ethics.
What if I need to cancel?
24 hours’ notice is requested. If a day is too heavy, write to me. We reschedule the session. You don’t have to justify yourself.
Getting started
What if I prefer a group to individual coaching?
Les AuDAHcieuses is a 12-week program for autistic and ADHD women. The same in-depth work, with something private coaching can’t offer: other women who function like you. Two possible tracks: group only, or group with additional individual sessions. Find out about the next cohort.
How do I take a first step?
Book a free 30-minute connection call. It is a no-commitment space to feel whether we are a good fit. You have nothing to prepare and you don’t have to decide anything that day.
What really changes afterwards?
It’s not about becoming someone else. It’s about putting down what was never yours to carry.
It’s telling your manager that you need instructions in writing, without apologizing.
It’s noticing that your jaw has been clenched for an hour, and stopping before the crash instead of after.
It’s leaving a meeting knowing what you didn’t understand, and daring to ask.
It’s a lower week that you get through without concluding that everything has to start over.
Nothing becomes perfect. But you finally treat yourself as someone who deserves to be heard, starting with you.
The accreditations behind my coaching
Annie Lachance is a PCC-certified professional coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a member of ICF Québec. Every group call follows the ICF Code of Ethics: confidentiality, consent and respect for your pace.
Annie is also listed in the ADHD Girls register of certified AuDHD practitioners, a network dedicated to ADHD women and girls. A member of the Académie des naturopathes et naturothérapeutes du Canada (ACNN), she brings the body, the nervous system and hormonal cycles into the work, as they directly influence the energy of AuDHD women.

Annie Lachance
Annie Lachance, neurodivergence coach, autistic and ADHD
My name is Annie Lachance. I found out I was autistic and ADHD at 44, following my son’s assessment. Before that, I had spent years supporting others in helping relationships, in social work, in massage therapy, then in coaching.
In individual sessions, what I bring is a way of listening that doesn’t try to push you back into the mold. I ask simple questions, focused on what you feel more than on what you should do. And I stay with you during the weeks when things are harder.
What they say
“Finally respecting my energy”
“Annie supported me at a time when I was trying to adapt my business and my way of working to how I function, as an AuDHD entrepreneur with very limited energy.
Annie’s coaching helped me reconnect with the energy I really have available day to day, so I could make better decisions that respect my pace. I was able to get out of the doubts that paralyzed me and find joy and momentum in my work again. Annie also gave me very practical help in the form of a tutorial on a specific technical point, which unblocked a project that had been stalled for a long time. I feel like I made a fresh start (which, on top of that, coincides with the start of the year!!)
Annie’s stance is extremely caring and non-judgmental. I felt understood, completely at ease and safe throughout the coaching, from the very first conversation (discovery call). I especially appreciated the quality of her questions: both simple and powerful, focused on feeling rather than “doing”. It helped me come back to my body, listening to what is right for me, rather than looking for intellectual or forced solutions.
I recommend Annie’s support to neurodivergent people who want to create and grow their business while respecting their energy, the way they function and what makes them unique.”
“Listening to what my body is telling me”
“Annie offers very conscientious support that integrates the body, emotions and beliefs.
It had been a long time since I felt so aligned in my body.
This coaching helped me listen more to my needs, take care of myself and even open up to what my body is trying to tell me.
She has a very personalized and creative approach.”

“It didn’t even feel like work!”
“With Annie’s guidance, I managed to connect deeply with my body and find a sense of grounding and wholeness again.
Through meditation and visualization exercises, I was able to set concrete goals and adopt means that suit me.
I’ll share this with you: after each session, I wondered what I had just done… I was skeptical about the results I would get, since it didn’t feel like I had worked!
In truth, over the weeks, I made a great many changes in my life.
Looking back, I can tell you that it’s as if, for once, I took charge of myself and made so many wishes, needs and ideals real, smoothly and naturally!
While procrastination, anxiety and resistance to change remain challenges for me, I know I now have access to an invaluable tool: coaching with Annie.”
“Whose mold, I still wonder!”
“Thanks to Annie’s program, I can connect more quickly with the quiet strength within me instead of letting anxiety and fear overwhelm me.
I am less defensive in some of my relationships, because I have learned to recognize the forces at work in my body and my thoughts, and I can better manage the impulsivity that is part of me.
I can make decisions that respect who I am and say no when necessary.
It is a real gift, after a lifetime of trying to “fit” the mold. Whose mold, I still wonder!”
